S/2023 VERTICAL DROP AWNING
The S/2023 vertical drop awning is part of Mectend’s Awning product range. Vertical awnings are used as sunscreening for windows and balconies.
They are very versatile because they can be easily adapted to the size and structure of your home. They offer both frontal and lateral protection because they have such a structure that allows the fabric to descend flush to the wall . The vertical awning provides complete protection from the sun.
Awning features
The S/2023 is a zip-guide awning. The fabric remains integrated, sliding inside the lateral guides, which are equipped with a zipper system with an internal spring compensation. This awning model has an optional front rail locking system with a manual tensioning bolt kit.
The guides, only 67mm wide, are excellent for space optimazation e are also supplied pre-assembled for quick installation.
The terminal is equipped with a rubber to compensate for uneven floors, as well as the feet of the guides which are adjustable in height.
The awning is equipped with the new square aluminum protective cover box that can be opened and inspected. It is possible to attach a sliding curtain to the inner side of the box to furnish and protect from the sun and to increase privacy.
It can be applied to the ceiling with stainless steel plates or to the wall directly by fixing the box or to the side of the wall, with the pre-made cassette ends. The guides can be fitted using special profiles.
It is possible to choose material and colour of the fabric.
The opening can be either by gear or with SOMFY motor system with traditional technology, RTS radio, or IO home-control. The IO system manages awnings opening via remote control or via app from smartphone or tablet, also remotely.
